Donato Pelati kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Alberigo Cipriani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Angelo Schiavoni made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Villa Adriana's Armin Lucentini got a free kick in the 8th minute. Alberigo Cipriani took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Schiavoni. Angelo Schiavoni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some careless play in the LaMafiaDellArdo FC defense, Bruno Farina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corrado Taranto. The LaMafiaDellArdo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corrado Taranto should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, Flavio Rulli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amedeo Moretti's late challenge caught a Villa Adriana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amedeo Moretti helped the player get up and apologised. Amedeo Moretti kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Alberigo Granato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LaMafiaDellArdo FC's Corrado Taranto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Corrado Taranto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Granato, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. LaMafiaDellArdo FC's Alberigo Cipriani got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Anselmo Palumbo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Adriana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LaMafiaDellArdo FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Villa Adriana's Anselmo Palumbo got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of Villa Adriana booed when LaMafiaDellArdo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beppe Di Nardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Rulli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Schiavoni having to interfere. Flavio Rulli might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Schiavoni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Rulli ran back to his position shaking his head.

If Flavio Rulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Schiavoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Rulli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alberigo Cipriani came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the LaMafiaDellArdo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberigo Cipriani couldn't finish the play. In the 71st match minute, Villa Adriana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Nazzari to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute of the match LaMafiaDellArdo FC got a corner. Villa Adriana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonio Scivittaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Alberigo Cipriani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Farina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, LaMafiaDellArdo FC's Carter Vianello got a free kick in the 84th minute. The audience was convinced that Alberigo Cipriani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Schiavoni was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Angelo Schiavoni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Villa Adriana players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LaMafiaDellArdo FC.
