Ermanno Del Bello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Taranto having to interfere. LaMafiaDellArdo FC's Flavio Rulli got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosimo Picca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Cipriani in the 13th minute of play. Cosimo Picca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Cipriani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 18 minutes, Alberigo Cipriani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LaMafiaDellArdo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberigo Cipriani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavio Rulli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Cosimo Picca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Ernesto Orrore from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Corrado Taranto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amedeo Moretti during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to LaMafiaDellArdo FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Amedeo Moretti hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Ermanno Del Bello dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Corrado Taranto, 1-0. If Flavio Rulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Crociarone's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Cipriani came free, but Cosimo Picca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Flavio Rulli made a precise shot to the right of Cosimo Picca. Crociarone's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

54 minutes into the game, one of Crociarone:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 55th minute, Antonio Scivittaro made a precise shot to the right of Cosimo Picca. Crociarone's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Flavio Rulli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cosimo Picca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Di Campli charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Di Campli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, Crociarone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Di Campli to maneuver through the defense. Crociarone's Cosimo Picca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Cipriani in the 68th minute of play. Corrado Taranto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Prandini, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to Crociarone getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dario Di Bernardo hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, LaMafiaDellArdo FC's Antonio Scivittaro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ermanno Del Bello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corrado Taranto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Crociarone's Cosimo Picca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Cipriani in the 82nd minute of play. Alberigo Cipriani struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Cosimo Picca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LaMafiaDellArdo FC. 98 minutes into the match, LaMafiaDellArdo FC's Alberigo Cipriani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosimo Picca narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
