Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Cosimo Coscarella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Santone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ciro Galliani came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Capodichino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Galliani couldn't finish the play. Aldo Santone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Coscarella, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Capodichino's Ciro Galliani got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Galliani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Aldo Santone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Capodichino's zone, Alessio Grossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Manzo came out of the goal and Alessio Grossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 20 in the game by Adriano Sisti from a close distance when the talented Fabio Manzo managed to make a qualified save. Capodichino's players were relieved. Fabio Manzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Sisti in the 21st minute. A collision led to Capodichino getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bernardo Rizzo hit a great ball. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mensa! 30 minutes into the game, Bernardo Rizzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capodichino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mensa the free kick. After a rather tough play, Capodichino's Bernardo Rizzo got a free kick in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Capodichino's Fabio Manzo got control of the ball when Adriano Sisti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Capodichino's Fabio Manzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessio Grossi in the 35th minute of play. Alvise Boninsegna hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Aldo Santone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Aversa in the 42nd minute of play. Aldo Santone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Galliani's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Cosimo Coscarella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Santone was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Alessio Grossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Capodichino were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosimo Coscarella made a kick off. Cosimo Coscarella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Santone having to interfere. Cosimo Coscarella blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Santone having to make a save. A collision led to Mensa getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Achille Scudieri hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Cosimo Coscarella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capodichino's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosimo Coscarella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Santone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Capodichino's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Grossi came free, but Fabio Manzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ciro Galliani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mensa's Aldo Santone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Mensa from getting a goal against them. In the 88th match minute, Mensa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvise Boninsegna to maneuver through the defense. The Mensa supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Capodichino's performance. The match ended with a win for Capodichino.
