Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Santa Nicola's Bruno Zangari started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elia Rocchetti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessandro Pascucci went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Alessandro Pascucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santa Nicola's Bruno Zangari got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 14 played minutes Billiemme AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Tocchetto. If Bruno Zangari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amedeo Di Rado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Billiemme AFC's Alessandro Pascucci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elia Rocchetti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Billiemme AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Tocchetto to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Bruno Zangari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Nicola's zone, Antonio Banana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amedeo Di Rado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billiemme AFC's Ciccio Basso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Billiemme AFC from getting a goal against them. Bruno Zangari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Billiemme AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessandro Pascucci was the one to do the kick off. Bruno Zangari took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciccio Basso. Ciccio Basso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Bruno Zangari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd match minute, Santa Nicola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Pasquino to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Zangari took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciccio Basso. Ciccio Basso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Alberigo Giusto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Basso having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eraldo Collovati during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
