The audience was convinced that Ermanno Muzzolon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuele Nardi was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Edoardo Rotondi managed to get in a good position for a shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ermanno Muzzolon to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, San Giuliano AFC's Donato Benedetti got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Francesco Briano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Ermanno Muzzolon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Giuliano AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermanno Muzzolon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Francesco Briano could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Alberigo Cirone however easily saved by the left post. Antonio Caroselli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Cirone having to interfere. Fulvio Monzeglio charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fulvio Monzeglio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Marling booed when San Giuliano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Monzeglio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, San Giuliano AFC's Alberigo Cirone got control of the ball when Francesco Briano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marling played a much better game than San Giuliano AFC and deserved their victory. The San Giuliano AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
