When Alberigo Luongo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 15 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ermanno Schiacciacasse was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Fulvio Ruggieri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ermanno Schiacciacasse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Federico Tuzzolino hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Cristoforo De Paolis might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermanno Schiacciacasse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristoforo De Paolis ran back to his position shaking his head. Ermanno Schiacciacasse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikkjal Hansen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Castenaso's goalkeeper Ermanno Schiacciacasse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Alberigo Luongo sped through Castenaso's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ermanno Schiacciacasse. Alberigo Luongo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ermanno Schiacciacasse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39thth minute of the game Alberigo Luongo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castenaso's Ermanno Schiacciacasse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led to U.S. Vapriese's Fulvio Ruggieri getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 45th minute, Mikkjal Hansen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fulvio Ruggieri struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ermanno Schiacciacasse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U.S. Vapriese.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Federico Tuzzolino was the one to do the kick off. Castenaso's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristoforo De Paolis 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. Ermanno Schiacciacasse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Ruggieri in the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Castenaso defense, Fulvio Ruggieri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermanno Schiacciacasse. The Castenaso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermanno Schiacciacasse should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute, U.S. Vapriese's Cristoforo De Paolis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Castenaso's Ermanno Schiacciacasse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Castenaso from getting a goal against them. When Ferruccio Vitucci fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castenaso's protests and gave Ferruccio Vitucci a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Castenaso got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Vitucci. Ermanno Schiacciacasse made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Mikkjal Hansen sent off a good shot on target. If Corrado Marra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberigo Luongo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ermanno Schiacciacasse made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Mikkjal Hansen managed to get in a good position for a shot. U.S. Vapriese's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikkjal Hansen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermanno Schiacciacasse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, U.S. Vapriese's Mikkjal Hansen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ermanno Schiacciacasse. Ermanno Schiacciacasse yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. With 79 minutes on the clock, Enzo Pizziolo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 79th minute, one of U.S. Vapriese:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for U.S. Vapriese. The referee gave Castenaso a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ernesto Lucantoni, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of U.S. Vapriese's Flavio Scafati. 1-9. Fulvio Ruggieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ermanno Schiacciacasse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fulvio Ruggieri came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the U.S. Vapriese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulvio Ruggieri couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Mikkjal Hansen took a quick shot and it went in 1-10 without a chance for Ermanno Schiacciacasse to make any attempt to save it. Cristoforo De Paolis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikkjal Hansen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over U.S. Vapriese could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Castenaso throughout the match.
