Gavasseto's Alvise Orsini got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute Cosimo Santagata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Bucciarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gavasseto fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 16 minutes, San Vittore's Fedele Coscia got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Camillo Di Cicco. After 19 played minutes San Vittore got a freekick which was hit by Dario Miccoli. Domenico Bucciarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Orsini, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Frank Pasin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Di Cicco having to interfere. Domenico Bucciarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Santagata in the 30th minute of play. Domenico Bucciarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Santagata, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Alvise Orsini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Cosimo Santagata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gavasseto's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosimo Santagata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domenico Bucciarelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Pasin made a kick off. Camillo Di Cicco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Pasin in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of San Vittore booed when Gavasseto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Ascoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domenico Bucciarelli made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Alvise Orsini sent off a good shot on target. Cosimo Santagata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 67 minutes into the match, San Vittore's goal looked a bit too open when Cosimo Santagata came free, but Domenico Bucciarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frank Pasin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domenico Bucciarelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gavasseto players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San Vittore.
