Eraldo Rocco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Campo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cortile FC's zone, Carmine Coccia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Campo came out of the goal and Carmine Coccia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Biagio Brini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ernesto Pich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes, Fausto Lenzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orbassano AFC and the Cortile FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Orbassano AFC's Fausto Lenzi got a free kick in the 30th minute. The supporters of Cortile FC booed when Orbassano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Lenzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eraldo Rocco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Campo having to interfere. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orbassano AFC's goalkeeper Ernesto Pich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bruno Biancone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ernesto Pich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eraldo Rocco to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cortile FC's Edoardo Bomba got a free kick in the 64th minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Biagio Brini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cortile FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Biagio Brini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Biancone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Orbassano AFC's goalkeeper Ernesto Pich had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Biancone. Cortile FC's Bernardo Campo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eraldo Rocco in the 76th minute of play. Ernesto Pich made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Bruno Biancone sent off a good shot on target. When Carmine Coccia came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Orbassano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmine Coccia couldn't finish the play. Alex Bonelli kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Orbassano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Brini came free, but Ernesto Pich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orbassano AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Biagio Brini scored to the left of an out of position Ernesto Pich, making the score, 0-1.
