If Corrado Fulgenzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Ercolano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Bertini came free, but Bernardo Armellini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Emiliano Bertini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOLO INTER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Bertini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Corrado Fulgenzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Armellini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Bertini, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of SOLO INTER booed when Ercolano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Giardino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Bertini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Bertini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Armellini was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Corrado Fulgenzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ercolano AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SOLO INTER the free kick. In the 37th minute, one of Ercolano AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ercolano AFC. In the 42nd play minute Alfonso De Meis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Antonio Cara. 1-1. Bernardo Armellini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corrado Fulgenzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiliano Bertini to strike the kick off in the second half. Antonio Cara came out of the goal and Donato Citrullo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over SOLO INTER could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ercolano AFC throughout the match.
