Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amos Di Leonardo started the match with the kick off. Montecchio's Fabrizio Picozzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Leoni in the 6th minute of play. Corrado Margoni charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Corrado Margoni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Montecchio got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Margoni. Andrea Scoca kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Alberto Leoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fabrizio Picozzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Leoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Felice Soccio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cosimo Bondi's late challenge caught a Commune's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosimo Bondi helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Montecchio got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Bondi. Francesco Palermo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabrizio Picozzi. Montecchio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Felice Soccio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Commune's supporters rose to their feet, but Felice Soccio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabrizio Picozzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amos Di Leonardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Cino having to make a save. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Commune's goalkeeper Emiliano Cino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Emiliano Cino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Alvise Di Febo fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Commune's protests and gave Alvise Di Febo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Commune's Alvise Di Febo got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Montecchio's Amos Di Leonardo in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Commune's goalie prevented a goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Commune's goalkeeper Emiliano Cino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabrizio Picozzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Soccio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alberto Leoni came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Commune fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Leoni couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felice Soccio made a kick off. 52 minutes in the game, Felice Soccio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fabrizio Picozzi having to interfere. Flavio Liberatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Cino having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Felice Soccio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Leoni got free with Fabrizio Picozzi in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 65 in the game by Alberto Leoni from a close distance when the talented Fabrizio Picozzi managed to make a qualified save. Montecchio's players were relieved. If Amos Di Leonardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corrado Margoni hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Felice Soccio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Felice Soccio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Picozzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montecchio's Amos Di Leonardo got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvise Di Febo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Alberto Leoni made a precise shot to the right of Fabrizio Picozzi. Montecchio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Alberto Leoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fabrizio Picozzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Montecchio's Fabrizio Picozzi got control of the ball when Alberto Leoni tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Commune walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
