Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Spirito Vincente's Alfonso Proietto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Enrico Nelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabrizio Picozzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alfonso Proietto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrizio Picozzi having to make a save. Fabrizio Picozzi came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Spirito Vincente's Alfonso Proietto. But to his dismay, Alfonso Proietto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alfonso Proietto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrizio Picozzi having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Proietto in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrizio Picozzi saved Montecchio from getting behind. Concetto Festa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Fabrizio Picozzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15thth minute of the game Alfonso Proietto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montecchio's Fabrizio Picozzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Spirito Vincente fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Spirito Vincente's Alfonso Proietto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Proietto in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrizio Picozzi saved Montecchio from getting behind. Bianco Verna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Di Cola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Bondi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Montecchio's Fabrizio Picozzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Proietto in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Montecchio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Scoca to maneuver through the defense. Fabrizio Picozzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Proietto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabrizio Picozzi came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Spirito Vincente's Alfonso Proietto. But to his dismay, Alfonso Proietto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Carter Pierucci hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Montecchio players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Spirito Vincente were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Amos Di Leonardo made the kick off in the second half. Enrico Nelli in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabrizio Picozzi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cosimo Bondi kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Fabrizio Picozzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Proietto, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Proietto in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrizio Picozzi saved Montecchio from getting behind. Bianco Verna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Proietto in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrizio Picozzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eraldo Malatesta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabrizio Picozzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Proietto got free with Fabrizio Picozzi in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Montecchio getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Comunardo Grande hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Bianco Verna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montecchio's goalkeeper Fabrizio Picozzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Corrado Formica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Proietto in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrizio Picozzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alfonso Proietto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute, Alfonso Proietto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabrizio Picozzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Proietto in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrizio Picozzi saved Montecchio from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Proietto in the 95th minute of play forced Montecchio's goalkeeper Fabrizio Picozzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Alfonso Proietto notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Montecchio's Fabrizio Picozzi. Fabrizio Picozzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Spirito Vincente could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Montecchio throughout the match.
