Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ettore Taccone was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. Marina Di Ravenna's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferruccio Mariano got free with Concetto Sanna in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Ettore Taccone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Concetto Sanna was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Marina Di Ravenna. Alessio Pellicciotta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Concetto Sanna. 1-0. Ettore Taccone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Sanna having to interfere. Alfredo Schiavio kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ettore Taccone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marina Di Ravenna's supporters rose to their feet, but Ettore Taccone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Concetto Sanna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the game, Alberto Crisantemo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pezzola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marina Di Ravenna the free kick. Ettore Taccone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Concetto Sanna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ettore Taccone made a kick off. Ferruccio Mariano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Concetto Sanna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Bolognini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Cara having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesare Scurti during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pezzola's Cesare Scurti got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute Ettore Taccone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Sanna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pezzola's zone, Ferruccio Mariano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Concetto Sanna came out of the goal and Ferruccio Mariano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, one of Pezzola:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pezzola. The referee gave Marina Di Ravenna a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alessio Pellicciotta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pezzola's Concetto Sanna. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Marina Di Ravenna's zone, Damiano Laurenti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Comunardo Cara came out of the goal and Damiano Laurenti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Damiano Laurenti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Comunardo Cara. That made the score 2-1 in the 83 minute of play. Federico Fiori's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Concetto Sanna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Damiano Laurenti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 minutes, Ettore Taccone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marina Di Ravenna and the Pezzola players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 100 minutes, Ferruccio Mariano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marina Di Ravenna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferruccio Mariano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Federico Fiori came up free with the goalie in the 102nd minute, the Marina Di Ravenna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Fiori couldn't finish the play. Pezzola's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
