Alessandro Tacco might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beppe Grasso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alessandro Tacco ran back to his position shaking his head. Edmondo Di Felice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Saima FC's Anfilogino Costantino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Beppe Grasso. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Beppe Grasso didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Saima FC's Anfilogino Costantino shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Saima FC's Dario Apolloni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Nazzaro in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Maris FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anfilogino Costantino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Donato Campese sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alessandro Tacco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Beppe Grasso made a huge save. Edmondo Di Felice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Grasso having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anfilogino Costantino to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Anfilogino Costantino put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Beppe Grasso. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maris FC's goalkeeper Beppe Grasso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Anfilogino Costantino came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Saima FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anfilogino Costantino couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Anfilogino Costantino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saima FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anfilogino Costantino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beppe Grasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, Dino Addari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Maris FC's zone, Edmondo Di Felice stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beppe Grasso came out of the goal and Edmondo Di Felice tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alessandro Tacco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Grasso having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Anfilogino Costantino made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Maris FC's Beppe Grasso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmondo Di Felice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Antonello Di Toma fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maris FC's protests and gave Antonello Di Toma a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Saima FC booed when Maris FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Di Toma didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes Maris FC got a freekick which was hit by Dino Addari. Donato Campese could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Dario Apolloni made a huge save. After having played for 96 minutes, Anfilogino Costantino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saima FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anfilogino Costantino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saima FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
