Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Franco Porcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beppe Grasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Paggi FC's Fabiano Rainaldi got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Maris FC's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Porcu came free, but Beppe Grasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maris FC's Beppe Grasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Rainaldi in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Comunardo Cantagallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paggi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maris FC the free kick. A collision led to Paggi FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Comunardo Cantagallo hit a great ball. Camillo Nazzaro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Cristiano Allemandi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Cosimo Di Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camillo Nazzaro struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Cristiano Allemandi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maris FC. Fabiano Rainaldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Maris FC's goalkeeper Beppe Grasso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristiano Allemandi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo Nazzaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Donato Campese cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cristiano Allemandi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Beppe Grasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Porcu in the 31st minute of play. Cristiano Allemandi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Nazzaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Campese recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo Nazzaro in the 47th minute of play forced Paggi FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Allemandi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Dino Addari charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dino Addari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th match minute, Maris FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Addari to maneuver through the defense. Beppe Grasso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dino Franceschelli. In the 67th minute, Camillo Nazzaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maris FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Camillo Nazzaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Maris FC booed when Paggi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosimo Di Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alessio Cieri kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Paggi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Nazzaro came free, but Cristiano Allemandi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Camillo Nazzaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paggi FC's Cristiano Allemandi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Paggi FC's Comunardo Cantagallo got a free kick in the 86th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paggi FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maris FC.
