After a defensive mix-up in Vázia's zone, Daniele Bonsignore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrea Caniglia came out of the goal and Daniele Bonsignore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ennio Rivera hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Biagio Pensa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Alvise Picca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Verdecchia, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th match minute, Cogliate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Rivera to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Vázia booed when Cogliate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Bellone didn't get a good kick on the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Biagio Pensa might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvise Picca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Biagio Pensa ran back to his position shaking his head. If Daniele Bonsignore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vázia's Andrea Caniglia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Bonsignore in the 91st minute of play.
