The ball went over the crossbar instead. Villazzano's Emiliano Scatena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Quadrini in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Villazzano booed when Hatebreed FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Biscotti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferruccio De Bartolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Barbanti, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Daniele Pacella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Scatena. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Biscotti in the 42nd minute of play forced Villazzano's goalkeeper Emiliano Scatena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Franco Biscotti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Emiliano Scatena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elia Barbanti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Scatena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, Villazzano could leave the field as winners, despite Hatebreed FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
