Claudio Polito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The audience held their breath when Dario Cacciatore in the 45th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Francesco Lampa's left hand side. Thanks to some nice moves Claudio Polito could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Elazar Nunez however easily saved by the left post.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudio Polito to strike the kick off in the second half. Elazar Nunez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Polito's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the game, Claudio Polito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Football Club Lucania the free kick. Elazar Nunez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Polito went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 83rd match minute, Inter Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Buffone to maneuver through the defense. Ciccio Marsili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Francesco Lampa made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristoforo Taccone kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francesco Lampa. That made the score 4-1 in the 93 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Inter Milan had won after a very even match.
