Claudio Del Grosso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 6 minutes into the match, Migliarina's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Sansoni came free, but Claudio Del Grosso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eraldo Costantini came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Rossoneri 4ever fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eraldo Costantini couldn't finish the play. Alberigo Tornese made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edoardo Costantini in the 16th minute. Dino De Matteis charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dino De Matteis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Migliarina booed when Rossoneri 4ever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino De Matteis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th match minute, Migliarina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortunato Del Grosso to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Del Grosso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Costantini in the 26th minute of the match. Donato Pilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Claudio Del Grosso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rossoneri 4ever's Francesco Bolognini got a free kick in the 31st minute. A collision led to Migliarina getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Dennis Rubini hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Bruno Sansoni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rossoneri 4ever's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Sansoni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Del Grosso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Bruno Sansoni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rossoneri 4ever fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The wind increased when Bruno Sansoni made the kick off in the second half. Dino De Matteis was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 57th minute, Dino De Matteis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eraldo Costantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 80 minutes of play, Rossoneri 4ever's Bruno Sansoni made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudio Del Grosso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edoardo Costantini missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 85 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Alberigo Tornese right hand side. When Fortunato Attili fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rossoneri 4ever's protests and gave Fortunato Attili a yellow card for diving instead. Migliarina's Cristoforo Bertini was substituted for Antonello Di Iulio. Donato Pilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Claudio Del Grosso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
