The audience thought a goal was coming when Concetto De Laurentiis got free with Bruno Martorella in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Viitorul Iasi Sox's Ferdinando Di Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eljas Meltoranta in the 21st minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Viitorul Iasi Sox fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Ferdinando Di Massa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugenio Di Giovanni went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. A hard shot 25 in the game by Concetto De Laurentiis from a close distance when the talented Bruno Martorella managed to make a qualified save. Mystics's players were relieved. Alvise Di Giandomenico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th match minute, Viitorul Iasi Sox was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Schiavoni to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Eljas Meltoranta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdinando Di Massa. Viitorul Iasi Sox's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eljas Meltoranta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Ferdinando Di Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Sciarra in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Concetto De Laurentiis got free with Bruno Martorella in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Angelo Arcangeli fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viitorul Iasi Sox's protests and gave Angelo Arcangeli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Viitorul Iasi Sox was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Arcangeli to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Martorella made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Concetto De Laurentiis sent off a good shot on target. Concetto De Laurentiis came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Martorella could save by the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvise Di Giandomenico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Eugenio Di Giovanni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mystics's Bruno Martorella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Di Giandomenico in the 53rd minute of play. Ferdinando Di Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eljas Meltoranta, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Viitorul Iasi Sox's Attilio Schiavoni got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered Attilio Schiavoni off the ground. After a rather tough play, Viitorul Iasi Sox's Attilio Schiavoni got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 59 minutes of play, Mystics's Eugenio Di Giovanni made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinando Di Massa was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Eljas Meltoranta in the 69th minute of play forced Viitorul Iasi Sox's goalkeeper Ferdinando Di Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viitorul Iasi Sox's Ferdinando Di Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Totaro in the 71st minute of play. Viitorul Iasi Sox were furious when Angelo Arcangeli was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 76th minute, one of Viitorul Iasi Sox:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Viitorul Iasi Sox. Ferdinando Di Massa had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Eugenio Di Giovanni's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Ferdinando Di Massa came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Mystics's Eugenio Di Giovanni. But to his dismay, Eugenio Di Giovanni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. The crowd rose to their feet as Eljas Meltoranta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferdinando Di Massa. That made the score 0-9 in the 81 minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Mystics's Camillo Sciarra made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinando Di Massa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, Alvise Di Giandomenico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Di Giovanni struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ferdinando Di Massa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mystics. 88 minutes into the match, Viitorul Iasi Sox's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Sciarra came free, but Ferdinando Di Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Camillo Sciarra came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Mystics fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camillo Sciarra couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Mystics left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Viitorul Iasi Sox.
