Cantonazzo FC's Arturo Nelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerhard Martin Geldreich in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Caniglia was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Federico Marongiu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Zollino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of FC Rhodense booed when Cantonazzo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Donatelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Gerhard Martin Geldreich shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo Nelli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edmondo Briganti's late challenge caught a FC Rhodense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Zollino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavio Crispino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Bruno Zollino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmondo Mascia lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 81 minutes into the game, one of Cantonazzo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bruno Zollino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Crispino in the 89th minute of the match. Flavio Crispino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bruno Zollino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Nelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Aichler in the 95th minute of play. The Cantonazzo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Rhodense were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
