Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuele Liberatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Piccini, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute, San Michele's Aldo Chelodi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aldo Chelodi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of San Michele protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aldo Chelodi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 13th minute, one of San Michele:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for San Michele. The goalkeeper, Edoardo Di Santo, was totally fooled by F.C. Partenope's Domenico Testi, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 21 minutes, Enzo Righi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Partenope's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Righi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, San Michele's Emilio Bocchi got a free kick in the 27th minute. A collision led to F.C. Partenope getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ercole Saraceni hit a great ball. If Fausto Simeoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edoardo Di Santo made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Biagio Bozzo sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute of the match, Federico Ruggieri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edoardo Di Santo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Biagio Bozzo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Federico Ruggieri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Frank Lorefice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Biagio Bozzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Partenope's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Michele the free kick. In the 84th match minute, F.C. Partenope was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biagio Bozzo to maneuver through the defense. After 88 minutes of play F.C. Partenope's Biagio Bozzo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Biagio Bozzo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Emanuele Liberatore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Lorefice in the 92nd minute. When Fausto Simeoni came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the San Michele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Simeoni couldn't finish the play. If Frank Lorefice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. F.C. Partenope had won after a very even match.
