The audience was convinced that Federico Ruggieri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Brandini was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 25th match minute, Valtesino United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Zinni to maneuver through the defense. F.C. Partenope's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valtesino United the free kick. After a rather tough play, F.C. Ennio Zinni charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ennio Zinni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Valtesino United getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ennio Zinni hit a great ball. If Carlo Cugini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Valtesino United a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ennio Zinni, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of F.C. Partenope's Emanuele Liberatore. 5-0. The supporters of F.C. Partenope booed when Valtesino United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Zinni didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 minutes, Achille Avesani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Partenope and the Valtesino United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes F.C. Partenope got a freekick which was hit by Achille Avesani. Valtesino United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
