Edoardo Di Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Cattaneo in the 21st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beppe Di Fazio during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 35 minutes into the match, Budrione's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Scutti came free, but Comunardo Melone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
