In the 21st match minute, TAYLOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Scirea to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, TAYLOR's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andrea Testa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Andrea Testa hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Beppe Loiacono took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrico Nicolini. Enrico Nicolini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ferruccio Di Giovanni hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Franco De Gregorio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alvaro Maestri. Andrea Testa charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrea Testa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andrea Testa kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Beppe Loiacono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosimo Campana kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. TAYLOR's Claudio Caneva couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Starcom Roma. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrea Testa to make the kick off. Andrea Scirea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmondo Gerosa struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Enrico Nicolini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TAYLOR. TAYLOR's Franco De Gregorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Testa in the 58th minute of play. With a little luck, Starcom Roma's Enrico Nicolini got control of the ball when Edmondo Gerosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florian De Paolis took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franco De Gregorio. Franco De Gregorio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Arrigo Giorda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Beppe Loiacono cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Enrico Nicolini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrea Scirea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Starcom Roma's Enrico Nicolini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe Loiacono in the 88th minute of play. When Alberigo De Santis fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Starcom Roma's protests and gave Alberigo De Santis a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Starcom Roma got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo De Santis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beppe Loiacono in the 91st minute of play forced Starcom Roma's goalkeeper Enrico Nicolini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, TAYLOR's goal looked a bit too open when Florian De Paolis came free, but Franco De Gregorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco De Gregorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian De Paolis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Florian De Paolis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Starcom Roma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.
