The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dino Tedeschi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Carta, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Realseno's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Realseno getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Eraldo Scibilia hit a great ball. Domenico Ottavi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Realseno's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 25th minute, Realseno's Domenico Ottavi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristiano Zaino. Cristiano Zaino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Augusto Loreto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fabiano Gelsomini's late challenge caught a Realseno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano Gelsomini helped the player get up and apologised. 39 minutes into the game, one of Suburra:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

Dino Tedeschi was a little too slow when Ermanno Bomba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 56th minute, Domenico Ottavi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, Concetto Carta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dino Tedeschi. Concetto Carta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Domenico Ottavi hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute of the match, Ermanno Bomba got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dino Tedeschi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Eugenio Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermanno Bomba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Dino Tedeschi made a huge save. Realseno's Dino Tedeschi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Realseno from getting a goal against them. Dino Tedeschi was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Concetto Carta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Concetto Carta really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Dino Tedeschi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Carta in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Realseno's Bruno Di Mario got a free kick in the 87th minute. The supporters of Suburra booed when Realseno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Di Mario didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
