Suburra's Cristiano Zaino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Suburra from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Quarto's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Bomba came free, but Frank Marongiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Enrico Raniolo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes, Suburra's Achille Gallucci shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frank Marongiu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Suburra reached it. Quarto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabrizio De Simone in the 21st minute. In the 22nd match minute, Suburra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Bomba to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th match minute, Quarto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Raniolo to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match Ferruccio Gerosa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frank Marongiu skillfully saved the ball. Fabrizio De Simone might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristiano Zaino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrizio De Simone ran back to his position shaking his head. Frank Marongiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Bomba in the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Suburra's Amedeo Angelici got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ermanno Bomba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Suburra getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Concetto Carta hit a great ball. Concetto Carta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Marongiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermanno Bomba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amerigo Granata during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amerigo Granata kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Quarto's Frank Marongiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Carta in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After a rather tough play, Quarto's Amerigo Granata got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Suburra's Ermanno Bomba got a free kick in the 56th minute. Florian Furino kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Ermanno Bomba might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frank Marongiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 70th minute, Concetto Carta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermanno Bomba took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frank Marongiu. Frank Marongiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 85th match minute, Suburra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Carta to maneuver through the defense. In the 86thth minute of the game Adriano Travaglini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suburra's Cristiano Zaino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ermanno Bomba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Frank Marongiu made a huge save. In the 93rd minute Alessandro Di Berardino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Zaino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Suburra were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Quarto's much stronger midfield.
