Aldo Novella made a great header on Prato Valera's corner, it was just that LATIUM's Fausto De Bonis managed to reach the ball for a save. Alvise Sisti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Fausto De Bonis made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, Prato Valera's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Buffone came free, but Michelangelo Menduni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvise Sisti to make the kick off. Michelangelo Menduni was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Alfonso Giovannelli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto De Bonis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Giovannelli got free with Michelangelo Menduni in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, LATIUM's Hector Ventura got a free kick in the 76th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Prato Valera's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Palmisano came free, but Michelangelo Menduni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Aurelio Oriali almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Prato Valera's Michelangelo Menduni did a great save.
