Iqbal Rambing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Arturo Tosi made a huge save. SURSUM CORDA F.C.'s Dario Biancone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaromír Čížek in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bagni's Beppe Mansueto got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 19th match minute, SURSUM CORDA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Di Florio to maneuver through the defense. After 30 played minutes SURSUM CORDA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Florio. Antonio Sampo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dario Biancone. SURSUM CORDA F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaromír Čížek in the 34th minute of play forced SURSUM CORDA F.C.'s goalkeeper Dario Biancone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaromír Čížek might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dario Biancone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaromír Čížek ran back to his position shaking his head. Dario Biancone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaromír Čížek in the 37th minute of play. Iqbal Rambing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Arturo Tosi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaromír Čížek was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaromír Čížek got free with Dario Biancone in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes into the match, SURSUM CORDA F.C.'s goalkeeper Dario Biancone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaromír Čížek. After a rather tough play, SURSUM CORDA F.C.'s Antonello Di Nucci got a free kick in the 57th minute. With a little luck, SURSUM CORDA F.C.'s Dario Biancone got control of the ball when Arrigo Melone tried to sneak it across the goal line. SURSUM CORDA F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Camillo Genovese scored to the left of an out of position Dario Biancone, making the score, 0-2. Abel Chenard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Dario Biancone made a huge save. When Cosimo Florio came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the SURSUM CORDA F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosimo Florio couldn't finish the play. Bagni's Arturo Nardone was substituted for Beppe Mansueto. 83 minutes into the match, SURSUM CORDA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Genovese came free, but Dario Biancone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bagni were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after SURSUM CORDA F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arrigo Melone took the corner. Bagni's Arturo Tosi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iqbal Rambing in the 86th minute of play. Frank Pagliuca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Dario Biancone made a huge save. When the final whistle went the supporters of Bagni were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant SURSUM CORDA F.C. side.
