Pico Bădila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Esben Mansachs in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carmine Di Rocco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 13 minutes into the match, Cimone's goalkeeper Carmine Di Rocco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esben Mansachs. Carmine Di Rocco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esben Mansachs's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Esben Mansachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carmine Di Rocco having to make a save. With an all-out effort, A.c Tre dei Frati's Carmine Di Rocco threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristiano De Lorenzi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Carmine Di Rocco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esben Mansachs in the 29th minute of play. Cimone's Carmine Di Rocco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Cimone from getting a goal against them. When A.c Tre dei Frati's Esben Mansachs in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cimone's goalie prevented a goal. Esben Mansachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carmine Di Rocco having to make a save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esben Mansachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carmine Di Rocco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esben Mansachs's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. If Franco Varglien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carmine Di Rocco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esben Mansachs in the 59th minute of play. Carmine Di Rocco came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by A.c Tre dei Frati's Esben Mansachs. But to his dismay, Esben Mansachs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 68th minute Ennio Gervasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pico Bădila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.c Tre dei Frati made a substitution. Ferruccio Mori replaced Esben Mansachs. After some careless play in the Cimone defense, Cristiano De Lorenzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmine Di Rocco. The Cimone fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmine Di Rocco should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Ferruccio Mori sped through Cimone's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carmine Di Rocco. Cimone's Carmine Di Rocco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Mori in the 89th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Velasco Bara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carmine Di Rocco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When A.c Tre dei Frati's Ferruccio Mori in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cimone's goalie prevented a goal. Gust Amaro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 96 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, one of A.c Tre dei Frati:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for A.c Tre dei Frati. Evaristo Borrego placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! A.c Tre dei Frati's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
