Cesare Vida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Caccavale in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Gom Gom FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Viana came free, but Cesare Vida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gom Gom FC's Ferruccio Damiani got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Yuri Viana came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Caramagnetta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuri Viana couldn't finish the play. Caramagnetta's Carmine Sammartano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Festuccia in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Ettore Brillante had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Frank Moscatelli's late challenge caught a Caramagnetta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Moscatelli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Gom Gom FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Moscatelli to maneuver through the defense. Cesare Vida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Gentile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesare Vida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Caccavale in the 20th minute of the match. Aurelio Santoro charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Santoro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Carmine Sammartano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dino Caccavale hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gom Gom FC's Cesare Vida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Viana in the 33rd minute of play. Elia Gentile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesare Vida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Gom Gom FC's Cesare Matteucci tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Caramagnetta's Carmine Sammartano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Caramagnetta from getting a goal against them.

Cesare Vida was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elia Gentile showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 93 minute of play. The Gom Gom FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Caramagnetta's performance. The match ended with a win for Caramagnetta.
