Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bernardino Vedillo started the match with the kick off. Miguel Orlondon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Cirigliano in the 3rd minute. Alex Cirigliano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Miguel Orlondon made a huge save. After 5 minutes, Ettore Varglien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PICCOLE PESTI and the Red Sox players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Ettore Varglien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Red Sox booed when PICCOLE PESTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Trigueiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ettore Varglien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Orlondon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francesco Festuccia in the 14th minute. The supporters of Red Sox booed when PICCOLE PESTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Vedillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alex Cirigliano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Lucantoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Varglien, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind PICCOLE PESTI's goalkeeper Miguel Orlondon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot by Antonello Zulli from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Miguel Orlondon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Alfredo Lucantoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Dossena, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Donato Dossena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alfredo Lucantoni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Cirigliano to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonello Zulli in the 54th minute of play forced PICCOLE PESTI's goalkeeper Miguel Orlondon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Red Sox! The goalkeeper, Alfredo Lucantoni, was totally fooled by PICCOLE PESTI's Bernabe Urki, who 58 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 61 minutes into the match, Ettore Varglien had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Lucantoni. Red Sox's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ettore Varglien was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. PICCOLE PESTI's Comunardo Cirulli was substituted for Secondo Arshavin. 67 minutes into the match, Red Sox's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Giacomini came free, but Alfredo Lucantoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Vedillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Alfredo Lucantoni made a huge save. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Red Sox's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernabe Urki was slow to take the kick. During this time PICCOLE PESTI's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Amedeo Giacomini managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 82 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's Amedeo Giacomini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Lucantoni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Red Sox's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernabe Urki was slow to take the kick. During this time PICCOLE PESTI's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on PICCOLE PESTI's corner Fortunato Brini fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfredo Lucantoni quite easily take care of the ball. Alfredo Lucantoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Giacomini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Red Sox's Antonello Zulli got a free kick in the 89th minute. Miguel Orlondon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felice Tieri's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The throw-in from Comunardo Cirulli in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Red Sox's Fedele Hell. PICCOLE PESTI's Miguel Orlondon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Pan in the 96th minute of play. Although Red Sox had been in control for most of the match, PICCOLE PESTI still came away with the win.
