Dedé Pires was slow to take the kick. During this time ASD USAC's players had a chance to rest. Francesco Ferraro made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Carlo Pellecchia sent off a good shot on target. Carlo Pellecchia did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Francesco Ferraro 16 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Pellecchia in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francesco Ferraro saved ASD USAC from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Flavio Rocchetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Silas Novaes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alfonso Nicolini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francesco Ferraro made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Carlo Pellecchia sent off a good shot on target. ASD USAC's Francesco Ferraro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save ASD USAC from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Nicolini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander De Lellis in the 37th minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Nicolini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Dedé Pires put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alfonso Nicolini. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
