The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Attila Molnár kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Szentlászló Spartacus's goalkeeper Soma Sáfár had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gergely Újházi. Soma Sáfár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gyula Fejes in the 25th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Szentlászló Spartacus got a freekick which was hit by Gábor Kodály. In the 28th minute of the match Bence Borsó sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Soma Sáfár skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th minute, Szentlászló Spartacus's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gergely Újházi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gyula Fejes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Soma Sáfár when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Vince Szigeti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sándor Fodor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Gyula Fejes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Máté Zakariás charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gyula Fejes made a kick off. Soma Sáfár showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gergely Újházi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Gergely Újházi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hollókõ EAC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gergely Újházi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Soma Sáfár breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gábor Kodály kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Gergely Újházi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Soma Sáfár tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Szentlászló Spartacus got a freekick which was hit by Tivadar Varsányi. Hollókõ EAC's Bence Borsó got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gyula Fejes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Soma Sáfár tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Szentlászló Spartacus got a freekick which was hit by Rajmund Sinkó. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Újházi in the 76th minute of play forced Szentlászló Spartacus's goalkeeper Soma Sáfár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gergely Újházi struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Soma Sáfár didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hollókõ EAC. After 83 minutes, György Vágner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szentlászló Spartacus and the Hollókõ EAC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vince Szigeti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Szentlászló Spartacus players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hollókõ EAC.
