Olivér Pető started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Ákos Kuti notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kupa's Richárd Váradi. Richárd Váradi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 10 minutes in the game, Olivér Pető fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without István Veress having to interfere. István Veress showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivér Pető, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Olivér Pető sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ákos Kuti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. István Veress made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Vida in the 23rd minute. Ákos Kuti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richárd Váradi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Bágyogszovát got a freekick which was hit by Balázs Latabár. If Olivér Pető had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ákos Kuti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Richárd Váradi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilmos Kollár in the 44th minute of play forced Kupa's goalkeeper Richárd Váradi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. István Kerékgyártó fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richárd Váradi having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
A collision led to Kupa getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Illés Budai hit a great ball. Kupa's Richárd Váradi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Kupa from getting a goal against them. When Olivér Pető came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Kupa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olivér Pető couldn't finish the play. If Olivér Pető had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, István Kerékgyártó got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd play minute István Kerékgyártó came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Richárd Váradi. 0-2. In the 65th match minute, Bágyogszovát was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ákos Kuti to maneuver through the defense. After 72 played minutes, Kupa's Illés Budai shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper István Veress came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kupa reached it. Richárd Váradi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ákos Kuti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 74 minute of play. Richárd Váradi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ákos Kuti's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Fábián Dudás kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. István Kerékgyártó fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richárd Váradi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kupa's Fülöp Gáspár got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ákos Kuti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Vida in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck István Veress prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miklós Kiprich hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bágyogszovát eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
