After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Zalán Káposztás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nagyhajmás's supporters rose to their feet, but Zalán Káposztás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Árpád Kocsis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Norbert Szél hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Csaba Szarka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Árpád Kocsis having to interfere. Endre Vörös received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Miklós Hajdú tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Csaba Szarka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Máté Cselényi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kéleshalom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nagyhajmás the free kick. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kéleshalom! In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Nagyhajmás. Norbert Szél stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Árpád Kocsis. 0-1. 33 minutes into the match, Zalán Káposztás notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kéleshalom's Árpád Kocsis. Árpád Kocsis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miklós Hajdú took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamás Edelényi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes, Máté Rácz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nagyhajmás and the Kéleshalom players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Máté Rácz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 48 minutes, Endre Pethő mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kéleshalom and the Nagyhajmás players grew even worse after the yellow card. Norbert Szél shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After the first half Nagyhajmás were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zalán Káposztás was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Máté Cselényi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Csaba Szarka succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 62nd playminute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Tamás Edelényi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nagyhajmás's Miklós Hajdú was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tibor Szusza hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Endre Vörös might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miklós Hajdú. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Endre Vörös ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Nagyhajmás defense, Tamás Edelényi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miklós Hajdú. The Nagyhajmás fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miklós Hajdú should have stopped the shot. Miklós Hajdú showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Endre Vörös, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Endre Vörös got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Márton Fejes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kéleshalom's supporters rose to their feet, but Márton Fejes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miklós Hajdú breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 played minutes Nagyhajmás got a freekick which was hit by Tibor Szusza. Endre Vörös received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. In the 98th minute of the match Endre Pethő sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miklós Hajdú skillfully saved the ball. The Nagyhajmás supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nagyhajmás would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
