Péter Bíró made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert Kolozsvári in the 7th minute. Gergely Kaszás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Péter Bíró having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Norbert Kolozsvári managed to get in a good position for a shot. Videoton FCF's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Kolozsvári was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Péter Bíró breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute Róbert Kertész shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miklós Szőke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Videoton FCF's Miklós Szőke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Kertész in the 17th minute of play. Miklós Szőke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márton Szűcs in the 20th minute of play. Gergely Kaszás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miklós Szőke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Fodor in the 27th minute of the match. Róbert Kertész's late challenge caught a Videoton FCF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Róbert Kertész helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Törtel AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbert Kertész to maneuver through the defense. Miklós Szőke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Fodor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Norbert Kolozsvári left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Videoton FCF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Péter Bíró showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gergely Kaszás in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Törtel AC's Márton Szűcs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miklós Szőke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Márton Szűcs made a kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Gergely Kaszás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Törtel AC's Péter Bíró was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 57 minutes into the game, when Róbert Kertész put in a rough tackle. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Videoton FCF. László Pál stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Péter Bíró. 4-1. After a rather tough play, Törtel AC's Róbert Kertész got a free kick in the 62nd minute. But to his dismay, Gergely Kaszás quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. When Benedek Kálmán fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Videoton FCF's protests and gave Benedek Kálmán a yellow card for diving instead. Benedek Kálmán hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Norbert Kolozsvári managed to get in a good position for a shot. Videoton FCF's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Kolozsvári was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Péter Bíró was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
