Mihály Bódog helped the player get up and apologised. Levente Lukács received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mihály Berki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ákos Fehér charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Iván Fejes made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Károly Benkô sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balázs Bósa in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iván Fejes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Balázs Bósa scored 0-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iván Fejes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Balázs Bósa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balázs Bósa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Károly Benkô got free with Iván Fejes in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 66 played minutes Vasszécseny FC got a freekick which was hit by Tibor Gulyás. Károly Benkô sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Milejszeg would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
