The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lajos Balogh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bánk Varsányi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Csataszög ETO getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Iván Szalontai hit a great ball. The supporters of Csataszög ETO booed when Folyton TC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gergely Kutas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrik Bognár received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bánk Varsányi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gergely Kutas might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Szilárd Varga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gergely Kutas ran back to his position shaking his head. If Patrik Bognár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 34 played minutes Folyton TC got a freekick which was hit by Bálint Szeszák. Áron Tímár received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Szilárd Varga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Csataszög ETO defense, Gergely Kutas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Szilárd Varga. The Csataszög ETO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Szilárd Varga should have stopped the shot. In the 48th minute, Lajos Balogh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gergely Kutas to make the kick off. Bálint Szeszák kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Folyton TC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Bálint Szeszák hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Folyton TC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Bognár came free, but Bánk Varsányi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szilárd Varga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gergely Kutas in the 63rd minute of the match. If Tamás Szentesi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Csataszög ETO's Szilárd Varga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Áron Tímár in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Áron Tímár managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Folyton TC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Áron Tímár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Tibor Sárközi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Szilárd Varga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szilárd Grosics, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Csataszög ETO booed when Folyton TC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernát Elek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute Iván Szalontai managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Gergely Kutas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Folyton TC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gergely Kutas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iván Szalontai hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Szilárd Varga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gergely Kutas in the 96th minute of the match. Folyton TC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Csataszög ETO for a fine match.
