Bánk Virág received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ákos Bódi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bánk Virág in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ákos Bódi saved Hardcore United F.C. from getting behind. When Szeged's Bánk Virág in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hardcore United F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Dömötör Sárosi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ákos Bódi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bánk Virág in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Dömötör Sárosi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Márk Gerencsér. Szeged's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dömötör Sárosi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. István Ambrus charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed István Ambrus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Bertalan Barabás sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hardcore United F.C.'s Ákos Bódi didn't even have to move. Szeged's Márk Gerencsér played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dömötör Sárosi in the 29th minute of play. Márk Gerencsér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csaba Cseh, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hardcore United F.C.'s zone, Zsolt Petres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ákos Bódi came out of the goal and Zsolt Petres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ákos Bódi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bánk Virág, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Pécsi kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Hardcore United F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bánk Virág 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Bánk Virág made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Hardcore United F.C.'s Dömötör Sárosi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 64 minutes into the match, Szeged's goalkeeper Márk Gerencsér had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Endre Kormos. Bánk Virág fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ákos Bódi having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Zsolt Petres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ákos Bódi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
