After a defensive mix-up in Mórahalom's zone, Félix Kondor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurél Gulyás came out of the goal and Félix Kondor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. István Mester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renátó Ballai, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Gergely Gyenes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Attila Csontos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Félix Kondor's late challenge caught a Mórahalom's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Félix Kondor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, AC Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Félix Kondor to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
