An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihály Kurucz in the 16th minute of play forced Botpalád's goalkeeper Tamás Bagi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tamás Bagi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lajos Cziránku went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Mihály Kurucz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tamás Bagi was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Lajos Cziránku fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tamás Bagi having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Mihály Kurucz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. The supporters of Torony FC booed when Botpalád was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Zádori didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lajos Cziránku's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tamás Bagi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Mihály Kurucz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tamás Bagi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Vörös's late challenge caught a Torony FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Vörös helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Alex Vörös hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Torony FC's Mihály Kurucz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tamás Bagi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mihály Kurucz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tamás Bagi having to interfere. Torony FC's Mihály Kurucz got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mihály Kurucz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Tamás Bagi made a huge save. A hard shot 70 in the game by Mihály Kurucz from a close distance when the talented Tamás Bagi managed to make a qualified save. Botpalád's players were relieved. When Mihály Kurucz came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Torony FC fans jumped to their feet. Mihály Kurucz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
