Nagytevel's Gusztáv Gervai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Polgár in the 40th minute of play. Gusztáv Gervai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Cselényi in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Rafael Cselényi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gusztáv Gervai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. József Szepesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Bódi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nagytevel. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Tengeri's János Medgyesi got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68 played minutes Nagytevel got a freekick which was hit by Márton Szőnyi. 72 minutes into the match, Tengeri's goal looked a bit too open when Csongor Edelényi came free, but Roland Bódi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
