Kálmán Major made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Zsolt Nyitrai sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Vajta AC's goalkeeper Kálmán Major had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zsolt Nyitrai. If Jónás Nagy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Sándor Salgó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jónás Nagy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ábel Makai having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Vajta AC got a freekick which was hit by Jónás Nagy. If Jónás Nagy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Zsolt Nyitrai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vajta AC's Kálmán Major was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jónás Nagy might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ábel Makai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jónás Nagy ran back to his position shaking his head. When Lóránd Sári came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Vajta AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lóránd Sári couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
