Ottó Herman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dénes Pásztor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jónás Czene recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jónás Czene took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ottó Herman. Ottó Herman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ottó Hidegkúti made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Bálint Gyarmati sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the game, Jónás Czene was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bódvaszilas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GYSZSE the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zsombor Józsa during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 36 minutes into the match, GYSZSE's goal looked a bit too open when Dénes Pásztor came free, but Ottó Herman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, György Major was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GYSZSE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bódvaszilas the free kick. After 38 played minutes GYSZSE got a freekick which was hit by György Major. In the 39th minute Jónás Czene shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ottó Herman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bálint Gyarmati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. László Gellért fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ottó Herman having to interfere. After the first half Bódvaszilas were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Félix Gervai made the kick off in the second half. Jónás Czene blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ottó Herman having to make a save. 54 minutes into the game, Ottó Torma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bódvaszilas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GYSZSE the free kick. The supporters of GYSZSE booed when Bódvaszilas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ottó Torma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ottó Hidegkúti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bálint Gyarmati in the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in GYSZSE's zone, Jónás Czene stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ottó Herman came out of the goal and Jónás Czene tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jónás Czene fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ottó Herman having to interfere. Dénes Pásztor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Ottó Herman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 68 in the game by Dénes Pásztor from a close distance when the talented Ottó Herman managed to make a qualified save. GYSZSE's players were relieved. GYSZSE's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jónás Czene 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. During the 76th minute of the match Ottó Torma completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ottó Torma a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 78 minutes, László Gellért mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bódvaszilas and the GYSZSE players grew even worse after the yellow card. László Gellért kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Félix Gervai struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ottó Hidegkúti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GYSZSE. If Dénes Pásztor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bódvaszilas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
