The audience was convinced that Ernesto Belarmo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcell Hellinger was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 24 minutes into the game, Hungarian Olympic's Miladin Kirichev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcell Hellinger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Yeovil's Marcell Hellinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Oskar Walroth in the 28th minute of play. Marcell Hellinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miladin Kirichev in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 37th minute Márk Kántor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukács Bánhegyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Attila Veres who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Lukács Bánhegyi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Hungarian Olympic's zone, Márk Kántor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukács Bánhegyi came out of the goal and Márk Kántor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcell Hellinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Walroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Per-Oskar Walroth hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Yeovil made a substitution. Krisztián Harsányi replaced Tamás Menyhért. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Attila Veres made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Belarmo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcell Hellinger saved Yeovil from getting behind. The supporters of Hungarian Olympic booed when Yeovil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. József Pucheli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70thth minute of the game Ernesto Belarmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yeovil's Marcell Hellinger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Mátyás Zakariás recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcell Hellinger. Marcell Hellinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Belarmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Márk Kántor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lukács Bánhegyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Hungarian Olympic could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yeovil throughout the match.
