During the 9th minute of the match Dejan Bekan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dejan Bekan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, NK BALUG ZAGREB's Dejan Bekan got a free kick in the 10th minute. Frano Maračić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frano Maračić kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Marko Adžija struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Rato Dragozetić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK BALUG ZAGREB. Dominik Borovečki kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Krešo Opačak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dejan Juršić in the 20th minute. Frano Maračić struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Krešo Opačak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Raca. The audience was convinced that Frano Maračić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Krešo Opačak was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Ante Janković hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. NK BALUG ZAGREB's Krešo Opačak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save NK BALUG ZAGREB from getting a goal against them. Augustin Martinis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rato Dragozetić having to interfere. Dejan Juršić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frano Maračić in the 80th minute of play forced NK BALUG ZAGREB's goalkeeper Krešo Opačak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krešo Opačak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frano Maračić in the 84th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the NK BALUG ZAGREB players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
