The supporters of Sokolovac Vinogradar booed when Voloder Uskok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florijan Posenjak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Voloder Uskok's Edi Zauner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Voloder Uskok from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Voloder Uskok defense, Gustav Jerić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edi Zauner. The Voloder Uskok fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edi Zauner should have stopped the shot. In the 13th match minute, Voloder Uskok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dado Milašinčić to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Sokolovac Vinogradar's Augustin Margetić tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nenad Reljić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Edi Zauner made a huge save. After 19 played minutes Voloder Uskok got a freekick which was hit by Florijan Posenjak. After having played for 20 minutes, Egon Pavuna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sokolovac Vinogradar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egon Pavuna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Žarko Šelendić charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Žarko Šelendić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edi Zauner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egon Pavuna in the 25th minute of the match. Nenad Reljićs short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Edi Zauner to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The wind increased when Florijan Posenjak made the kick off in the second half. Egon Pavuna struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Edi Zauner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sokolovac Vinogradar. Paško Gvardijan's late challenge caught a Voloder Uskok's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paško Gvardijan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, Sokolovac Vinogradar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paško Gvardijan to maneuver through the defense. Edi Zauner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Pavuna, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Nenad Reljić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Egon Pavuna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edi Zauner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nenad Reljić, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Časlav Špika hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sokolovac Vinogradar's Gustav Jerić got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edi Zauner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egon Pavuna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 90 minutes, Nenad Reljić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sokolovac Vinogradar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nenad Reljić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute Gustav Jerić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edi Zauner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
