Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jadranko Švenda started the match with the kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Bernard Aleksandrić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fužine Sokol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Aleksandrić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7thth minute of the game Benjamin Maračić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samobor Juzno's Lucijan Krnić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucijan Krnić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergej Supičić in the 11th minute of play. Sergej Supičić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Martin Vukčević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergej Supičić kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Fužine Sokol booed when Samobor Juzno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Vukčević didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Samobor Juzno's zone, Benjamin Maračić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucijan Krnić came out of the goal and Benjamin Maračić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Maračić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Lucijan Krnić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Benjamin Maračić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 48 played minutes Fužine Sokol got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Aleksandrić. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Maračić to make the kick off. When Alen Škarić came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Samobor Juzno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alen Škarić couldn't finish the play. If Ivica Mardešić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th match minute, Samobor Juzno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Vukčević to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Benjamin Maračić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fužine Sokol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Lucijan Krnić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Maračić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucijan Krnić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Maračić, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Fužine Sokol's Miroslav Brečak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paško Gospić in the 86th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Fužine Sokol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veljko Bogunović to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paško Gospić in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslav Brečak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miroslav Brečak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paško Gospić in the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over Fužine Sokol could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Samobor Juzno throughout the match.
