Šandor Dundara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gojko Perazić in the 4th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Branko Bubalo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sanjin Grmačka, passed just outside the right post. In the 13th minute, Sven Rubčić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute of the match Ibrica Križanec sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sanjin Grmačka skillfully saved the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Oporovec Hajduk's Tonko Očić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sanjin Grmačka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arsen Markulj kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Gojko Perazić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Budaševo Tekstilac's Sanjin Grmačka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branko Bubalo in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute Nino Vizek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Šandor Dundara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gojko Perazić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nino Vizek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Šandor Dundara having to interfere. Nino Vizek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Nino Vizek made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Oporovec Hajduk getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Andrija Huško hit a great ball. Gojko Perazić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Šandor Dundara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Branko Bubalo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Budaševo Tekstilac's Sanjin Grmačka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Branko Bubalo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Sanjin Grmačka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oporovec Hajduk. If Tonko Očić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Branko Bubalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sanjin Grmačka having to interfere. When Zvonko Bilopavlović fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Budaševo Tekstilac's protests and gave Zvonko Bilopavlović a yellow card for diving instead. Zvonko Bilopavlović kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes, Oporovec Hajduk's Ibrica Križanec shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sanjin Grmačka came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oporovec Hajduk reached it. Branko Bubalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sanjin Grmačka having to interfere. Nino Vizek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Šandor Dundara having to interfere. In the 92nd minute of the match Ibrica Križanec shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sanjin Grmačka showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 94 minutes in the game, Gojko Perazić fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Šandor Dundara having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Gojko Perazić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Despite being the better team, Budaševo Tekstilac failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
