The supporters of Ždralovi booed when Ovčare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucijan Težak didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mileta Korbar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Ždralovi's goal looked a bit too open when Milivoj Dubravčić came free, but Milivoj Sirotanović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milivoj Sirotanović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Cizelj, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Mileta Korbar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0.
